Herbs and components that make up the golden balm:
Phlai Cassumunar (Mountain Ginger). Ginger root is used in the treatment of indigestion, blood purification, constipation, flatulence, colic, pain in the uterus. Ginger essential oil contains 80% curcumin extract, a natural ginger dye is a proven effective pain reliever for tumors, and also reduces inflammation. Ginger is used in various types of pain, and ginger helps relieve muscle fatigue. Clinacanthus nutans (Snake Grass) - the leaves of the plant are used to make balsam. Snake grass promotes natural healing, has antiseptic properties. In Thai traditional medicine, an extract from the leaves of a plant is used as an antidote to snake bites.
Borneol Camphor (Patchouli) - leaves are used to prepare balm. The leaves of patchouli have a healing property, the essential oil is valued for its antidepressant properties, increases physical and mental capabilities. Patchouli is also a folk aphrodisiac. This use patchouli as a repellent.
Kitchen Mint - contains aromatic essential oil, which consists of menthol, beta-carotene, vitamin C and calcium. Leaves and stems are used to make a balm. Kitchen mint soothes, cools and helps healing and recovery.
Camphor tree - bark and root are used to make balsam. The essential oil of camphor wood contains camphor, safrole, cineol, pinene, camphen, phellandrene, and limnen. Essential oil can be used as an antiseptic, regular rubbing oil increases the mobility of joints and blood circulation.
Instructions for use:
For muscles and joints: apply to the problem area and rub in a massage motion for 2-3 minutes.
For headache: Rub a small amount into whiskey with light movements.
For breathing: apply a thin layer to the area of the nostrils.
With a cold: before bedtime, apply a small amount on the back and/or chest with massage movements for 2-5 minutes.
